Freeride

Virgin snow, peace and quiet and that feeling of floating is the fascination of freeriding.

Many runs start directly from the lift and are easy to reach. After a short climb you can be at the start of runs that have either never been skied before or by not many people before you. Discover the feeling of freedom in undisturbed nature and far from the stress of the daily grind.

As part of my job as winter mountain guide I undertake a daily check of the snow, weather and avalanche reports. In this case I can respond to conditions and can select the best ski areas for you.

Pre-requisites for this course: Secure ski ability on black runs and ability to ski in deep snow.

Freeride for beginners:

Do you have little or no experience of freeriding? Then this is the right course for you! Gradual development from skiing in areas away from the pistes is the aim. At the same time you will learn about the safety equipment and how to understand and use the off piste areas safely.
